We raise money to support local churches & ministries with extra funding and physical labor for the sole purpose of “helping others see Jesus.”
We started right in Central Minnesota by blessing youth ministries from various churches with $500. We have now gone to every corner of the United States and many locations in-between.
We're not denominationally driven. We've supported Baptist, Lutheran, Church of the Nazarene, Assemblies of God, and non-denominational churches and ministries.
Each location can use the finances however they want. They can buy equipment, host an event, appreciate volunteers, etc. All we ask is that the money is used to further their local influence.
We're a means by which people choose to impact their world. Money that's received is combined with other donations and is then sent to bless local churches & ministries across the country.
SYCAMORE gives each church and ministry that we support at least $500. A few places have received several thousand dollars based on the current needs of that location.
Why do we give $500? There’s two reasons…
1: it’s large enough to be a blessing
2: it’s significant enough to make a difference.
